Public Awareness of ONSC Growing

It's been an exciting spring at the Ozark Natural Science Center, with plenty more in store!

1. ONSC will be featured in Celebrate Magazine's Sustainability issue in April 2010, with an editorial spread on the Center as well as advertising to promote Call of the Wild on April 24.  The magazine perfectly targets an ideal demographic for ONSC: professionals living and working in Northwest Arkansas with a heart for local causes and high engagement in the community.  We're also thrilled to have a new year-long partnership with Celebrate which will help us as we promote summer camps, family and weekend programming.  More on Celebrate at: http://www.celebratearkansas.com/.
2. Be sure to mark your calendar to tune in to KNWA on Monday, April 12 at 10:00 p.m.  ONSC will be featured in the "Doing Good" segment, with a follow-up appearance on the next day's morning show along with a repeat of the segment.  We'll post a link to the spot after it airs, as well.  For more on KNWA, visit http://nwahomepage.com/.
3. It's easy to assume a website is just another website, but we are thoroughly impressed with http://www.freshare.net/.  Run by Bob Korpella, it's a truly impressive journalistic effort with top-notch writing and photographs.  ONSC will be featured on Freshare in the coming weeks - please visit the site, and perhaps connect with Freshare on Twitter and Facebook if you're so inclined.  Freshare is a fantastic site for outdoor enthusiasts and those who enjoy exploring the Ozarks.
